Hello All, I find myself on the job search, and would really love to pivot my work into labor related issues. It would be a huge help if I could know who’s who, and where I should be looking for opportunities. This can be unions, political and policy focussed groups, non-profit organizations, whatever – I just want to make an impact. I didn’t see any resources on the subreddit for this sort of thing, so it could be cool to aggregate this information and make it available to like minded people. I appreciate your time!

Seriously. Job listings are like calls for abuse. A job description is just an explanation of how you'll spend the majority of your waking hours in misery. It's like signing up to go to the Gulags. I'd rather just be hit over the head and forcefully made to work, than go through the demeaning ritual of employment.

God damn it, we need to earn a certain amount of credit each year, and we need to use our own money to paid for the course, and use our own time to attend it. The stupidest thing is that, self study is not acceptable, you have to attend the stupid course that probably not designed for our professional exactly and wasted my whole day. I am 1000% sure that i can learn more thing by sitting in front of the fucking table and read whatever journal article that actually related to my work than attending some random courses. Once I changed hospital, i studied so hard to keep up with my extra duties, I read books and journal articles to keep up with that. But sorry, those worth zero mark. Your study is worthless for the professional bodies. Fuck it

My son (11m) was arguing with his sister (12f): “I'm not leaving any cookies out for Santa anymore, he doesn't deserve them!” “Why not?”, his sister asks. “Because the reindeer do all the work hauling him around all night, he just gets all the credit. I should have seen the red flags from a mile away, one cashier, one manager, one stocker ever on shift, basically want me to stock the whole store , clean, and help out on cash register , then they entrap poor people with the promise of you'll be paid daily. But when my Manager took her vacation and left her friend from another store in charge , giving him a promotion, at only 19, the whole store went up in flames payroll was not submitted, and I didn't get paid. Their app the use to Pau me daily said I owed them 300 dollars because dollar tree didn't pay payroll, dollar tree waited 2 weeks to fix it, at which point I got behind on rent and got a late fee and got behind on bills. Dollar tree is evil, andi hate them,. The abuse I tool there was disgusting.…
