Hello, i live in canada and my employer sent the cops to my home because i left early without saying anything. BUT i sent a text message just after leaving to my boss saying I QUIT. Was it legal for them to send the cops at my home to check on me?? it felt like harassment and caused lots of stress. thanks.

He starts his employees off between 10-$12/hr, I start mine off at $15. On top of that he constantly deals with call offs or employees quitting while I’ve had the same guys for 2 months and not only do they rarely call off, they almost always come through when I need extra help.
