I work for a contractor and they really are stingy about anybody being in the break room when there is literally no work to be done. It doesnt matter whether you're eating or being productive on your down time, if a manager or supervisor sees you in there they'll give you work to do. I was just given a 30 minute long task while i just sat down to eat. What would be yall reactions?

I got the full blow, even though I'm not the one to blame for supply chain issues and drivers not finding the site because the customer doesn't send us clear addresses. The sales rep went completely off on me. Then apparently went to his manager who then blindly believed all the rep…

When I first joined this company they guaranteed my holidays off because I was a student living far away from home. They told me I would always get first pick for holidays off. I requested Thanksgiving off the beginning of October to make sure it was well in advance. 3 weeks before Thanksgiving they notified me that I cannot take the holidays off anymore because the company is growing and they need all the workers they can get. So that exact same day I typed up my two weeks notice and turned it in so i would still get to enjoy my entire thanksgiving break. THEN they still put me on the schedule for thanksgiving. Once I saw that…
