I’ve been applying to jobs like crazy obviously, but other than that I have hardly left my house at all. The only time I get out during the day is to take my dog on a walk in the morning and in the evening. I find myself falling asleep throughout the day because I’m actively trying to avoid going out so I won’t spend any money right now. And for some reason, I’m totally exhausted even though I’m not really doing anything besides applying to jobs and interviewing. I don’t even have motivation to go to the gym like I normally do and I feel like my schedule is all out of whack because I’ve been sleeping in and eating meals at weird times. I’m used to being able to afford to eat out everyday for lunch and often dinner, and I feel like I have not been eating very…

I work in a meat department was supposed to meet with HR and my manager about 2 weeks ago nothing mentioned after that. Came in yesterday being told they want to force me to another department and that Im one of the hardest workers also providing quality work as anyone in the store but don’t work well with others aka useless people. Just funny cause it’s bare minimum type stuff. These”useless” coworkers have had to recently sign contracts stating they will be on time and at work for their shifts. Yet still left early one being an assistant manager. The meeting is with 2 department managers 2 store managers HR and an AC sounds like a good time. Also the assistant manger was pressuring me to sell him my meds that he knows I take from an injury. No idea when this happing have the next 2 days off asked…

I am a work from home employee. My employer is requesting that we (CA employees) fill out a wage and hour attestation dating back to the beginning of the year. This attestation was implemented in August of this year as far as we know. This attestation basically states we were given our allotted paid and unpaid breaks and did not work during them. I can’t really find much on this but it feels iffy to expect us to fill this out backdated and I know they’re just trying to cover their asses. Anyone heard of this or have any insight?

So I had an interview today that went well but I do not want to pursue employment from these people. During the interview one “participant” just sat silently working on his daily tasks. Which I understand but very distracting to have a conversation with people looking into space. And the person directing the questions would ask me a question then get on her cell phone. If I did that when they asked me questions it would be a hard no from them. If my time isn’t valued on interview one it will never be as an employee. I’d like to write an email to them saying I don’t want to be considered for the position anymore. Thanks!

I injured myself Monday while working and got evaluated yesterday to which I’m not off until Monday. When I turned my note in my manager stated “I had so much potential” in the rudest way and then had the audacity to tell me I looked like I could work anyway”. I’m tired of people saying no one wants to work because we’re lazy when it’s the fact that being treated like shit in front of other coworkers AND customers isn’t worth the low pay for the job. Oh and on top of this NO ONE knows where this incident report I’m support to sign is or if it exists and passes it off to another manager. We’ll see if I even fucking come back.
