I get burnt out in jobs because I need to be creative to be happy. I make cool stuff in my spare time for my friends and family and never get tired of it. How do I create a business out of it ? I hate going to work and not being with my kids more than anything.

i loooooveeee working!!
I love working and having money and feeding my family and not starving i love going to work every day and coming back with a bag full'o wonderful food that will keep me full!!!!
So I’m in kind of a weird situation, I was hired at a company in May of this year and was under the pretense that I was applying and interviewing for a technician I role. All documentation that was signed at the date of hire was listed as a technician I role, however my boss recently pulled me aside and let me know that “they accidentally meant to hire me as a technician II instead of a tech I”. In a document given to me a few days ago, it states that “your pay rate at this time will not be impacted as you were brought in at the tech II rate upon hire”. My concern with this is that I negotiated with them to get a higher starting hourly rate when I was hired for the tech I role. The justification that I was given a tech II starting…
My company creates an event for this time of year, every year. We try making it bigger and better every year but last year, and this, when we opened a couple weeks ago, it fell apart. We didn't finish it on time, with staff working 9 days plus, some of them 12 or more hours a day to get it finished although we didn't. Complaint after complaint from customers and all address at the staff managers just walked off. Unfinished buildings, with tools left around and construction equipment left around, wet paint, damaged flooring, out of date food and drink, untrained staff and false advertising. War site in parking lot and gardens. And all of this could have been avoided. We know we do it yearly we could start in spring but don't. No plans made up and distributed, just single tasks given by management and then you have to…
So, I am a left leaning person in a fairly conservatively minded country. I, by no means, think I am well versed in my politics, I just like to study them and have a generally optimistic and progressively alligened view on things. I try not to be too dogmatic, and I only debate people who want to debate, as that's what makes it fun and interesting, even when it does get heated. Anyways, yesterday in work, I was enjoying my lunch break, chatting to my coworkers about Christmas and work gossip, normal ass stuff, when the 'buddy' type manager comes in. He's the type of guy to call all the customers 'brother' and 'dude' and generally attempts to act cool in front of the younger staff (who range from 16 onwards, so a lot of them like him because he's the nice, teacher-like manager who is chill with them). I've…
So now we pay to work now??
I am 25 and after finishing my education last year, I was unemployed. In my home country, the government supports you and so I could stay jobless, but I started a long term relationship and also theough inflation I decided to apply for a job. The market is not as bad as in the US and we are not overflooded by Karens, so I applied for a simple cashier job at my local supermarket and had a meeting there a few days ago. They pay 2 buck more then minimum wage per hour, shifts are from 6am-1pm and 1pm-8, if you work past 8 (shop closes at 9), you get 50%+ per hour. Parttime here really only means to work less ours then fulltime. So if fulltime is 40 hours a week a 39 hour worker is considered part time. Since I am not really spiritually connected to the idea…
I just started graduate job where I had to do so. At first I thought it shouldn’t be too bad and of course, I was desperate as a graduate. Shortly after, I realised that all my coworkers were on the same boat and that my commute time was actually one of the shortest there. To my surprise they were all ok with it and a handful were long-term employees. However, lucky for them, they all get work from home twice a week. My role however, did not allow me to do so. I feel bad about wasting time just thinking that I spend 2 hours in my car each day. Does anyone here have a similar experience? If you stayed, why? If you left, how long did you last in a job like that?
Boss wants me to work after my end date
so I work at a pizza delivery place… My manager who is a nice lady … would hang out with her if we met outside of work. she is fostering a toxic work environment by allowing cocaine dealers and bullies to continue to work there after evidence of both happening being brought to her attention. both persons threatened me with violence when I called them both our for it… she knows the whole situation and did nothing.. so I put in my two weeks notice on the 17th of this month… do you know she had the nerve to text me last night to ask if I could work after my end date?!?!?
