Im a 19m and literally have hated every form of working I’ve done in my life besides high school and college. I worked 2 jobs in fast food in high school at like 35 hours a week and saved something like $15k and thought i was so productive but honestly I regret doing that and wasting my weekends commuting working 12 hour days washing fucking dishes Last week I started working at Lowes and i thought it might be better than fast food but I hate it just as much if not even worse. I work as a legal assistant at this small firm in Chicago IL. I’ve been working for two months, putting in about 90 hours every pay period (45 hours a week). I have not received any overtime pay. Initially, a manager said it was because after 3 months I would get commission for the monthly cases I finished. I know commissioned workers do not qualify for overtime pay. Yesterday the firm owner said I would begin getting commission pay after 6 months, and I was eligible for overtime pay after today. Does my employer owe me the overtime pay I earned the first two months of working? That’s at least 30 hours of overtime I was paid at regular wage. Any advice here is helpful, thank you!

So I wanted to complain about HR harassing me because I'm the only man at my workplace. But do I complain to HR about it? Because HR is the one's harassing me. Who do I complain to?
