Gotta love hustle culture. This guy just wasn’t working hard enough to avoid criminal activity…
Who signs this shit?
I do admin work second shift & I recently found out one of my coworkers has been looking at my time card & questioning my punches. Not only that, she’s complaining to management about me & talking about my PTO balances. I should also add I have never had one issue with this person before & we don’t even work the same shift. My question is: why should she (or anyone in my office) have access to my personal information? What are my rights in this situation & what should I do going forward?
I work at a service-based company. I love my job. But my boss just openly admitted that when a client pays online and includes a tip, she doesn’t give it to our workers. She doesn’t divide it among the cleaners because “she doesn’t wanna deal with the tip drama”. She just keeps it for “office parties” ma’am that’s not the company’s money. That belongs to the ones who earned it. It’s a small company so there’s little I can do. How do I report this?
I live in California, and we're legally entitled to breaks. My company, as a whole, does give breaks, but the manager of my specific department never gives us opportunities to take ours. If I wanted to report them, where/how would I do that? Would I need some kind of proof that we aren't getting them, or does the company have to prove that we are being given the opportunity to take them?
Holiday Snub
13 year employee of a women’s health group. I schedule surgery for 7 providers. I received an invitation to the annual Holiday breakfast hosted by the providers for all office staff to attend. During said party, every employee received a holiday card with $$ (hundreds of dollars) in it except me. I have always received one in the past. I brought it up to my manager wondering if it was just an oversight to which I received zero response. Today, I received a small boquet of flowers and a card that states “We appreciate you” and “signed” by the doctors. I feel so angry and disappointed that I am being treated this way by a company and more specifically a group if doctors I work very hard for. I would like to tell them to shove their flowers up their ass! Am I overreacting?!!
