This story is 6 months old. So, I signed a senior position with 15k jump with better benefits and double the vacation days compared to the job I quit. Before quitting, I read my original contract to find out if there is a clause for notice period or not. There was none. I was working in this public company as an analyst for 3.5 years. In these years, my salary only increased by $1500. I was doing bunch of ad hoc duties, pulling overtime without additional incentives, and even working late and on weekends just to prove my reliability and hardwork. I was given bunch of additional tasks without any reward. None of the additional work was part of my contract. However, I kept asking my manager for a raise every once in a while. My manager was reporting to director. She was controlling everyone in the department. So, everytime…

Reasons: Scheduled 9 days in a row, 1 day off then 2 more in a row My bonus was less then everyone else’s I get paid $2 an hour less then everyone else working the same position, same hours Management never does anything to address anyones concerns and makes empty promises Fuck them. Anyone know something better in Portland OR?

Title says most of it. I've taken out a personal loan to pay off my credit cards at a lower interest rate. Once I pay a couple things off, I can afford to go part time because my expenses will be around d 1600 on the high end. I'm genuinely happy to work less as soon as I can. Hoping that posting this here will keep me on track.

I emailed them asking if I got the date wrong or if they needed to reschedule. They responded that they are placing that role on pause. Nice of them to let me know beforehand. I had to arrange child care because I didn’t want my son to distract me during the interview. I waited for them to call for almost 20 minutes.
