Had a call scheduled with an internal recruiter. It was the initial call, understand my experience and I get to learn more about the position company. In one email exchange shortly before the call the recruiter let me know the CFO would be attending, surprise! I was interviewing for a mid level position. Why would the CFO be on an initial call? Why did you wait to just before the call to tell me? What's really going on? I really have no patience for this sort of behavior.

What else can I do?
So just today! I was able to put a news tip for investigation on the shady business practices of my retailer T-Mobile Groups (There are Corporate and Retailer stores) I was pretty detailed about what went on in those stores owned by that company. All from lying about inventory and refusing to sell phones without watches or accessories, encourage fraud behavior, T-Chart scams etc. biggest thing was T-Charts. Sooo T-Charts are supposedly suppose to “save you money” yeah okay no. These T-Charts you see in these Companies are not to save you money. And could even cost you more in the long run. Their used to make you feel like you’re getting a deal when in reality you pay more than what you are suppose too and when time comes it’s too late for refunds and credits. So one news station is aware how else can I express this?
Maryland’s 4-Day Workweek Act
Maryland is proposing a pilot project to incentivize employers to shift to a four-day workweek for private and public workers. Awesome that it's getting pushed forward; no idea if it will actually happen. https://wtop.com/maryland/2023/01/marylanders-could-get-a-shorter-workweek-under-new-bill/
I’ve worked for this guy for 24 years. He’s crazy every day. I’ve learned to deal with that for the most part. Some days, especially when he has to wake up early like today, he comes in hopped up on goofballs (adderall, coke, who knows?) causing unnecessary chaos. Today leaving the situation seemed like the best idea. It was really bad. When I tried to leave he blocked my car with his. Only one way out. He refused to move unless I signed a resignation letter or went back to work. I called the cops because he was not allowing me to leave. The cops came. He moved before the cops came. They seemed sympathetic, but said their was no crime committed. Maybe a civil action was possible. They asked me if I wanted them to talk to him. I said yes. Left it at that. Any advice?
They want 100% of employees to be in the program even if you aren't on insurance with them. It feels like a huge invasion of privacy. Is this even legal?
You can’t have water
My job (retail) recently decided that we cannot have any drinks at our stations at all anymore. Not even water. The prior rule was no drinks without lids but I guess that's not good enough. We must dehydrate (the hardworking employees) or constantly abandon our stations to drink (the slackers) Yay
