it’s britney bitch
I have applied to about 250 jobs in the last two months and have little (and if you don't include emails, “no”) contact with any employers about job openings. Most, if not all I am actually overqualified for. I'm afraid this is happening because I am part-time working at, and attending grad school at night. The school is prestigious and for that reason, I put it front and center on my resume, but could this actually be negatively impacting my chances?
Am I crazy? Or is this gaslighting
I’m a writer at a major financial firm. My boss has requested to read my emails before we send them to internal members of the team in order to maintain and nourish good relationships. There are no past examples I can recall of us botching internal communications. I asked if I could provide feedback during a team meeting with the other writer being affected by this change. He said yes but only next week in our 1 on 1 meeting. After that, he mentioned in the team meeting that reviewing emails before sending them was a non-negotiable. We had a conversation about this incident in our 1 on 1 meeting the week after, and it was explained to me that I should be more mindful about the business case of having my emails screened. However, we make our employees purchase their own and haven’t changed the handbook. I brought it to the attention of the higher ups but they are just telling me “we don’t do this anymore”. I feel like this leaves the company open to a pretty big class action lawsuit. Am I wrong?
These famous words said by supposed self made millionaire Dave Ramsay. “So let me get this straight you live in your momma's basement but you've got a coach purse?” “Ramsay blames not the young adults but the helicopter parents”. Saying you've got a coach purse, worth maybe 200 if that, vs a custom made 10.2 million dollar house(like the one he just sold a year ago) and we're the problem or our parents are the problem? Funny thing is he lived with his parents through college, taking the real estate exams and the first year or two of working until he started a multi billion dollar business that was ultimately brought down by bankruptcy. Not to mention the scathing reports of whistleblowers I've found on various social media sites questioning his management skills. This guy blames us for not being able to afford a half a million dollar house because…
