For context, I'm a first year university student that has a wacky schedule and currently I'm 2 weeks on holiday since I've just finished my final exams recently, I would go to work at a retail company after class and I had a daily (part-time) salary for each day I came to work. My grandparents really wanted me to come see them in Arizona to the point where they bought both me and my best friend plane tickets to go visit them in March. I would have to take 5 days off work. This would be March 27th – March 31st. I put request in AND emailed my supervisor the hours. She responded that she will put it in the calender but it could be denied depending on how many people have requested that space already/if they need me (I'm a nurse case manager, the only one for my area). I haven't responded yet but if I don't get the time off I'm quitting. I used to be such a doormat but not this time. I literally don't care anymore lol
