I'm tired of being a developer. I'm tired of company culture. I'm tired of meetings that go nowhere. I'm a senior developer but I hate the industry mainly because most developers I've worked with, I wouldn't associate with outside of work. I've got 10 years experience but every new job I take, I get the “You don't look like a developer” treatment. I played college sports and I'm still in shape. That used to keep a lot of people in check because face to face, no one would say anything crazy to me because I'm a big guy from family genetics and working out. My brother is a professional athlete and my dad was also. Now that I work remote, people feel more comfortable being more condescending because I can't reach across the computer and check them. Such a tall task for the average american.

Go to school, learn things your not gonna use outside of math and reading. You don't learn about money until you are already in debt. You work your whole day away, too exhausted to pursue goals that will lead to freedom of work work until you are old then government cuts you a check that may or may not be enough to pay bills.
