This is a rather long post and the grammar and punctuation may not be top tier so I do apologize. I work for a company that involves traveling and we have our own trucks and gas cards. Just need some insight on if I can due anything about this situation. Edit. I’ve tried looking for other jobs and when contacting HR they weren’t very helpful in sorting things. The company is slow during the winter so no work is to be expected but communication is something that should be expected. To start this off I took a leave of absence from my work in late October for personal issues and me moving to a different state. I contact my boss and we talk with HR and I’m granted a 30 day leave of absence and all I have to do is inform my boss when the 30 days are up…

Washington State's pay transparency law has now gone into effect. Most reputable companies should have updated their job listings in the state to include salary ranges. If they haven't, consider it to be a big red flag.
I currently work as a security guard. I work at a post where the only human interaction I get are the people that I am relieving or reliving me, and the workers I sometimes talk to when I want to microwave my food or go to the bathroom, and the occasional supervisor visits. But other than that I don't have a lot of people to talk to. Remote work would be nice but I'm unqualified for most remote jobs. If there are no remote jobs I wonder what other on site jobs can I work at with little to no human interaction?
fired on the 1st of January
My boss just called me (1st of January) after getting ghosted and not scheduled for weeks that he has to let me go. It took them 3 weeks to accept my call, make my contract and schedule me at the first place. I was working there 2 days (+14 hours in training) and apparently based on those 2 days I am a horrible worker for not meeting their high standards. Also, my boss told me that I am not taking any work (???, I was basically NOT scheduled and also the days I was already scheduled for were taken away). Got reported by multiple coworkers for the smallest things I was not told beforehand (e.g. not knowing where a product is to refill and taking more time because of this) and feeling very muched fucked over behind my back by these amount of hate for no apparent reason Waiting for…
I was thinking about this, because when unions first started together, popularity many of the social systems we have now such as unemployment didn’t exist. So how did the 1% talk about us in their time considering now it’s “nobody wants to work these days” ?

Hey folks, this post may get a little personal for some, but I had some questions about Colorado medical laws for anyone who might be able to help. I've been to a local walk-in clinic (not actually walk-in apparently) to get a diagnosis for some chronic gastrointestinal problems I've had since the very end of November of 2022. I've made 2 phone calls and one in-person visit to see if my results were available. The walk-in visit was about 2 days ago and when I went in the front desk workers said it looked like I had results, but they said the doctor had to call and present them to me. I agreed to wait another day, but it's been 2 days and I've not even received an email. I understand it's the holiday season and they're busy, but I've been patient for a week and they can't even take…
