Yall, I need to just vent. If this is stupid or the wrong place… just ignore me. Either my mental health has just gotten so bad, or every workplace just freaking sucks. I left a large corporation after being overworked — 12 hour days as a salaried employee — to the point where it just destroyed my mental health. I quit on my lunch break. Via email. Just noped out. I took a break. Had to have surgery. Started a new job and seven weeks later I feel like I'm about to have another mental health crisis singularly because of work. I like what I do. I like my job. I make a difference in people's lives. I do not like the petty office drama and bullying. I came home crying yesterday because of a bully supervisor and just feeling absolutely defeated.
