Seriously consider an alternative place to gather for your antiwork needs because the worker empowerment that takes place here will eventually get axed and it won't matter how big the sub is because putting the boot to our necks will always be worth it.
Bare Minimum Tuesday?
I missed Bare Minimum Monday so I propose Bare Minimum Tuesdays what do you guys think?
They are working hard to create a recession where they will knock those wages down, throw people out of work, make people lose their homes and now there is an orchestrated effort by every company at the same time to force people back to the office against their will. This isn't just at my new job but at every job since Covid. I work in Healthcare. Since Covid hit, people have been short staffed and patients have increased in numbers. A lot of nurses I know left or retired. I started a new job yesterday where I was to have a full week of training (40 hours) before going to the front desk. I went through a very traumatic experience last year, and she was there for me. Every day she would ask me how I am, and I was not fine, but she was sympathetic. She would tell me I needed to get signed off…
Had a quarterly CEO briefing this week and this was the response to a question around expectations for pay rises this year. What is your best response to this logic?
