Complaint Filed on Me at Work

so it was brought to my attention that Friday at work I was given a warning because of some comments I had made about my bosses wife. I told him directly that I wanted his wife to put me in a diaper and wipe my ass and treat me like an infant and jerk me off while she was wiping my ass. He always jokes around and calls me names so I didn’t think that would trigger him. I just don’t know what to do. Hopefully I don’t get terminated. Also, I keep a dildo in my pocket at work for shits and giggles whenever my coworkers are joking around, should I stop doing this?

Working in order just to survive

I will have to work for at least another 35 years. Assuming the best case scenario that I never lose my job and manage to get a few wage raises by job hopping or other means, during this time I will earn 1.5 Million Dollars. A mortage for a house or rent – depending on what will be more affordable will cost me at least some 600 000 Dollars. Probably closer to 700 000 with rent inflation/house repairs and interest rate over the 35 year period With inflation taken into account at least another 200 000 Dollars for food. Then we have gas, electricity, 3 cars over this period, internet, a few replacement phones and PCs, clothing, medical bills etc etc Thats assuming a relatively low inflation and no stuff that makes life worth living like going out – or traveling etc. A family/kids are out of the question. If…

Do I have to finish my 2 week notice?

I have spent over two years at this company so far and I had put in my 2 week notice almost 2 weeks ago. I only have 3 work days left until my last official day on the job; however I’ve exhausted my sick time and I was wondering if there would be any consequences for calling out the rest of the days. I know the general answer to this would be to just finish the 2 weeks but I feel like I’ve been being treated different since I put in my notice. Ive been wanting to quit since there first day and has greatly impacted my mental/physical health in a negative way. I’ve just about had it with everyone/everything here (it’s a 12 hour night shift) so you could probably imagine how hard this decision is. Please let me know your thoughts 🫠

I can’t have Water at my Workplace? Restaurant Worker…

I work in a food court at a grocery store behind a big ol' hibachi grill. The other day, the store manager told me that I can't have water to drink anywhere in the kitchen, and that I have to travel to the bathroom hallway a hundred yards away anytime I wanted a drink. As you can imagine, this is impossible to do. It's also completely unreasonable to ask someone to work at a blazing hot grill without water. It feels unsafe for more reasons than one – main one being dehydration, of course. What can I do?

Great Video on Wealth Gap Driven by Policies written for the Rich

https://youtu.be/twM7bzuhEeA?t=975 The link starts a few minutes in with how voting laws are intentionally being made to make it difficult but then it gets into real wage comparison from the 70s until today and has a ton of great facts, for example, how there was a study done covering 1200 companies. 600 union and 600 non-union who competed against each other in their industry segments and how the bankruptcy rate between union and non-union were identical. Meaning, whenever you hear something about how companies with unions can't compete, it is bullshit. And how George Washington and Thomas Jefferson wanted to have the government invest in the cod fishing industry and they did a study to find out what would be the best way to do that, and the and was, give the money directly to the workers, not the people who owned the ships. David Cay Johnston has a several…

I quit a job after four days of training and have yet to receive my paycheck.

Hi Everyone, About to shoot of an email to HR but just wanted to get some comments here before doing so. I started working for a non-profit organization on Monday, Feb 20th. I signed the offer a week prior and sent the then-accepted offer to my current employer and asked them to counter it. On Thursday, Feb 23rd, I received the counter-offer from my current employer which was SUBSTANTIALLY better so Friday, Feb 24th I walked into the office of the NPO and told them I had received a better offer and walked out. I still have not been paid for the four days I worked for them, and am not willing to leave $960 ($30x32hrs) just sitting on the table. I SHOULD have been paid on March 3rd. I waited until the following pay period last Friday to make sure it didn’t show up then. Nada. What should I…
