For someone with a completely made-up job that produces nothing and adds absolutely 0 value to the world, he sure pops a little boner over the prospect of employers getting a new chance to abuse, under-pay, and generally face-fuck their employees. Sadistic bosses
My poor young bro in law, he has to work 3 hours a way from his wife and newborn kid so only gets back at weekends. 1st May weekend 3 days he thinks…. sadistic boss says Saturday is clean the office day (unpaid). He couldn't say no as lose his job, and hard to get (not USA), I hate these kind of sadistic bosses! I only hope there is a special kind of hell for these people. Anyway any others got similar stories ? Just wanted to vent on bro's behalf….

Life ruined by 15 year olds!
My GM told me tonight it is against the law for restaurants to add an automatic gratuity to any guest check. I have worked in the industry for the past seven years and every place I've been at before this one has added some sort of automatic gratuity to any party over X amount or more. What can I do? I have also looked into this said law. She had mentioned it's been in law since 2014 that restaurants can be fined $20,000 for automatic gratuities. I have not found any sort of proof whatsoever. I'm in Michigan and work in Detroit if that helps for any sort of actual advice on what to do about this. Rent Utilities Phone bill Groceries School Therapy Car Friends Hobby's Savings to buy a home Enough to date Afford a family Pets No one can afford all of this but everyone always tells me I should be able to, like I might be able by the skin of my teeth but I'd like it if it wasn't that close. I could find a 20 dollar an hour job but when I look it's almost no where or no replies. To add insult to injury my parents told me over dinner that I'm worth 15 an hour because I'm young (21m) I mean yeah I walked out without a backup so thats my bad but I'm worth more than this. Can't tell my parents that because then I'm entitled fml
