I put my notice in at this place. Boss is doing the typical whining about me leaving. He told me if I had quit without notice, he would've purposely withheld my check as long as possible before he gets in trouble. Let's just say this guy is awful. Like today for example, he posted a photoshopped pic of the pretty new girl surrounded by black men. Like that one meme. He sent it to the group chat for all the store managers. Yesterday we had a really friendly black lady come by. Boss saw her. Pulled out some crappy $20 whip he bought and started cracking it in the shop. Then chased my white coworker around with it saying “Cmere boy!” And offended the customer. Customer left. So, there anyway he could get penalized for doing this? I really just want my check and to never see these people again.

So I’ve gained a good 10-15 lbs since WFH. I invested in a stand-up desk and walking platform so I wouldn’t be so stagnant during work. Today they told me that I couldn’t use it during any meetings because it’s counter productive, any thoughts around this or have similar experience?

A little context I’m a truck driver, I pull grocery to gas stations and grocery stores. I run a Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule and have Sunday off. I get paid Salary as long as I run 3 loads a week. Last Tuesday my fiancé had to get a biopsy and go to other Dr appointments all day. Normally I’d be on the road on Tuesday due to how my loads are set up, so I talked to the dispatch manager and she put me on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday. A recruiter told me about a job in a different state. After saying I would be willing to relocate she told me I would have to pay for it myself. Like?? Why would I do that? Please tell me I am not crazy. For context, the move would be about 1,000 miles.

I'm a software engineer with 7 other engineers on my team. We're a new team and we all onboarded to this company 7 months ago. I quickly realized I overestimated the ability of half the other engineers as they were taking a week on simple assignments such as simple styling changes or creating reusable React components. These were tasks I was able to finish in under an hour. This led to me mentoring 2 of the least experienced engineers 3x a week for a couple months. I was also always entrusted with the large high-priority items as I was known for getting things done quickly while maintaining a high quality of work. This is just a vent post. I'm not looking for someone to tell me I need to go back to school or move to a low cost of living area or anything like that. Just need to vent because this was dumb as hell. I'm a new employee at a community college, I've only been hired a little over a month with a probation period of 1 year. I make $16 an hour and currently work between 28-30 hours per week. I'm the youngest in my office and do a lot of receptionist type stuff – making sure students sign in, replying to emails, answering the phone, monitoring students accounts to make sure they pay their tuition and fees, that kinda stuff. Hi everyone, so i have been trying to get my business verifed on google for WEEKS now, I have been back and forth with a google my business specialist who continues to constantly requests me to complete and submit tasks which i have already completed. below is included my last email i sent to him. this individual is vague as to why my website is not approved…it literally matches my google business profile(hours,name etc) and is CREATED and POWERED by google's PLATFORM. i even purchased the domain with google!!..its very annoying since i have submitted a verification video as well as followed up with business cards and equipment, in the submitted video i include my unbranded and unlocked vehicle..with license plates.. it has become very stressfull to get my business published on google and fear this asshole will deny or suspend my request.
