How screwed am I
TL – Dr I inherited some property and my cousin is cooking the books and informed me if I cause problems I'm not on the LLC, will not be protected and will have the full responsibility. English is my first language but I'm a California male so we have struggles. I inherited part of a income producing property and my cousin controls 88% of it. I noticed some irregularities and issues about receiving money and the value of the property. He continues to blow me off. On the businesses income last year it shows he made will say $100,000 and I was to receive 12% of it or $8,000 and he didn't pay me. It's recorded in his taxes. I pointed out other problems and things he has not done for what I think is needed for the irs. I do not want to get in trouble. He informed me…
Feeling guilty for quitting?
I found a better place and closer to my house, but i feel qulity for quitting my actual job, it's my first job here and they tought me everything, how do i deal with guilty sense?
So, my call center job is shifting to a WFH position for the location I'm in now. They've told us that we could either quit, move to the other Texas locations they have, or do the WFH option. I picked the latter and they've since given me: the monitor, computer, keyboard, mouse, headset, and the 50ft ethernet cable. Great, fantastic I don't have to buy all this stuff. Now, as far as equipment I needed to buy was a computer desk, a good chair, wall clips for the ethernet cable, and the surge protector to plug the computer into. Flash forward to yesterday actually when I first of all, didn't know there wasn't an on-site shift. And secondly, when I emailed my supervisor about when I should have all my stuff setup (as I have yet to build the desk I've received yesterday), I was told as soon as possible…
Harrassed at work! Need advice
Need help! My work brought in a health and safety manager from another country and last year asked me for my number. I obliged and went out that weekend with her to the beach. She tried kissing me and was dropping hints like let's go on another “date” This freaked me out so I started to ignore her/bail on any plans mad. It was hard to ignore her every day as we worked together and she held a position of power over me. (I'm on health and safety committee).on days I dident respond she would make comments about it to coworkers infront of me. (By this time all coworkers new even my direct supervisor) my supervisor is amazing and is the reason I'm having issues coming forward. If I miss work I get texts “where are you” almost 4 months of me not responding to her or bailing for plans…
Hi everyone … I (33 F) am looking for guidance on where to go from here. I have a desk job and have been 100% wfh since 2020. Around then, my general pain, vertigo, chronic migraines, and subsequent anxiety were bad, but working from home made it much more manageable. Because of the wfh situation, I will admit I didn’t seek medical care as soon as I should. Fast forward 3 years and I now have a baby and my symptoms are still persistent. I feel as though I may have fibromyalgia because I’ve been unable to find a reason for my pain despite several blood tests, X-rays of my tailbone and spine, & allergy testing. I have also sought reason for my vertigo and migraines, but have come up inconclusive despite the aforementioned testing and an MRI of my brain. Each doctors pushes me to the next. Now my…
