My people

i am still in training for usps just got a call because my clothes are old a little stained and i missed the shirt i was wearing had a tear in it the other day. i live in a house with natural gas and that smell was on me and someone thought i didn't bathe today and complained. it's not the first and this time is especially making me pissy since one of the other trainees is wearing some perfume that's hurting me nose burning, lungs hurting, and coughing like it's going out of style, but i kept it to myself. silly me keeping it to myself because now i guess i get to bathe my clothes in frebreeze again despite the irritation it causes my skin just to please some karen. i have serious health problems and have to keep my house clean and myself clean. i can't even…

I work at a boating supply warehouse. Pay is actually decent $19 an hour but management is making it miserable to be there. Inconsistent hours, hell our shift was cut 10 hours last week, and completely unpredictable workloads. They decided after cutting our hours to 30 a week that we would need to come in Saturday to help clean up the mess they created. With less than 12 hour notice, my entire shift pretty much just laughed this off and most of us called out. Can’t wait to see how things are today. Wish me luck

Sent in my two weeks notice last night, around 8pm. I work at a 24hr veterinary ER and management tends to operate on a midshift schedule- from afternoon to later at night. It’s 1pm the next day, I haven’t heard anything from either manager. Should I send a text, or another email, or anything at all? I really would prefer to talk to them as little as possible, but a two weeks notice isn’t any good if no one acknowledges it.
