I don't know if this is the right sub but I feel like you might have some good advice. Ever since I started my job there is one girl I can't stand. She's 21 and thinks she knows everything. She is constantly watching everyone, you can feel her eyes on you and its so uncomfortable. She's the first to report you if she thinks you have done something wrong, will report you even if you haven't. I'm a great worker, it sounds cocky but I am, clients love me and I'm passionate about what I do. She's the only issue. She's not innocent too, has had her fair share of warnings but she is dating the assistant managers brother so her punishments are never taken seriously. How can I not let her affect me, I ignore her most of the time but she just makes me feel so uneasy.

My grandparents, so my daughter's great grandparents, are both 80. They live on a lake in MN, have a boat, a jetski, 4 bedrooms, a truck and a car both less than 10 years old. She asked me, “What did great grandma and great grandpa do for jobs when they were younger?” I responded “Great grandpa worked for the state, mostly maintaining stop lights. Great grandma was a secretary at a college.” Her response was to go super quiet for half a minute and then she said “So you can get rich doing those jobs?” This kid is 6!! She already realizes something isn't adding up. If my husband had the same exact job that he has now, but set in the 1970s, we would be absolutely rolling in money. Instead we both have to work full-time to afford a 3 bedroom tract house (that we are super thankful for),…

Memorial day is Monday here in U.S. MANY people don't have this day off. Please plan tomorrow accordingly so you don't have to go to any businesses on the holiday. If there isn't any money to be made, they won't stay open in the future. Let's help out brothers and sister in the struggle.

So my office just hired a consultant. The consultant emailed (to our personal emails) several pages to fill out prior to her visit. This went to all of the employees. We are hourly. It’s reasonable to stay after work one night still clocked in to fill it out correct? Doing it on my own time isn’t the vibe.

Every day I see post from this sub It’s always bitching bitching bitching About other proletariat How this proletariat sucks cause he’s aspiring to be a petty bourgeois? How no one can be self made because …their mom carried them in their body for 9 months. How someone couldn’t be self made because….well someone had to build the roads for them to be able to travel! What is this sub?
