Her job is wack, they give her extra hours and make her come in early at their convenience and make her work alone even though she has seizures.

I sent an email to this company about an error in a delivery and this is the auto reply I get back 🤦️ even if every word of this is made up, the fact that they took time to come up with this tone deaf nonsense and think it’s an appropriate response to a customer service request boggles my mind. If this is only the auto reply for customers I can only imagine what the employees get.
Ghosting my boss today
I would just like to share my current situation. I work for an excavating company and sometimes we get called out for jobs on weekends. My boss tried calling me earlier today and I ignored it, mostly because I had more important things to do. But he just tried calling again and I ghosted him again. Normally I would feel really bad or feel guilty, but honestly, this time, I don’t really care. Normally that would sound bad, BUT, we have other people who came take the calls. And anyway this job is going nowhere fast. I make way less than I should, and the company doesn’t even know if we’ll keep a contract with the bigger company we work for. I kinda just want him to let me go so I don’t have to worry about it anymore. Sorry for the rant, just wanted to put this out there.…
I'm a very qualified person (computer science degree in a top university, several extra courses, many years of experience in mega corps) but after quitting my previous relatively high income job due to completely insane management and great part of co-workers, I'm working a simply low income job. At the beginning I thought it would be a short period, but time is passing and I'm not finding anything close to my previous income for hour, even now that I've a way more experience than when I started that job. What are other people doing? What are your plans? Thank you
So as of about a week ago I have joined my local union at my factory. I spent a bit of time scoping out the union itself because while originally I wanted to join as soon as possible despite searching so many places I could not find a single person who is part of it. That was like 6 months ago and I kept trying to figure it out in between a whole bunch of times. Well, I joined first shift and found out that the union was only comprised of first shift, this made me incredibly hesitant. So I approached it cautiously because my fear was that it was a 20-year-old union stuck in its ways and pretty much dying, I don't think I could help that. Thankfully, they're new. Like a year and a half old. When I found this out I was so relieved because I can…
Before I spend any $ asking a labor attorney… does anyone know wether the fact that my offer letter says I was hired at 60% remote and 40% on-site means anything when the company is now asking everyone to come onsite in a few months (60% or 3 days a week) ? I assume it will eventually go to 4 days. Since I was hired, my situation has changed and I only go in one day a week and it was fine until my boss left. I have a meeting w HR next week but wanted to check if this is even something I should bring up or wether it doesn’t matter and they can change the terms anytime? Thanks in advance!

Worked an 11 hour shift no breaks
So I work in a restaurant in California. I recently worked an 11 hour shift with not even a 10 minute break. It was the night before mother's day. Just the other day we had a “mandatory meeting”, where the owner basically told us we are replaceable and should be grateful to work there. What are some steps I should take? I am afraid of losing my job because it's tough out there right now.
absolutely fuming
I went from working 6 days a week, to 4, to 2 and then none. I was basically forced to quit, and the unprofessionalism that she had the whole time made this more of a win than a loss. Full time at my second job now. (:
