Currently working at a factory making 19 bucks an hour, the factories around the area generally pay around $21/hour. Well Big Boss came in to Grace are factory with his presence for the first time. I've been working at a gov facility for the last 5 years. I got laid off last year due to some personal reasons (I was unable to get vaccinated) 15 months later, they called me back and asked if I was interested in returning. I told them yes because I had nothing better going on and was struggling looking for work. They never gave me a clear answer on if I would have the same job and on the first day back, I could tell that they added more work onto me which has been very stressful and annoying considering the pay is the same (minimum wage) I'm there for 5 hours a day and I make roughly $300 a week Monday to Friday. Hey all. Some info first: I work in New Jersey, an at-will state, at a county jail but am not a county employee. I am a psychiatric social worker. There are 8 of us on site every day. My particular position is non-crisis meaning, if I’m not there one or more days..my coworkers are not impacted nor do they complete any of my work. My situation: I am diagnosed with major depression and while it’s relatively managed by a psychiatrist & therapist and I work hard at my wellness & self care, there are days where I struggle and need to step back.
