Unethical work environment

So lately I have been really really unhappy with this job I have. The main issue is that im working for an incompetent and very unethical boss who would do anything to get as much money from medicaid than thry are allowed to At the expense of taxpayers without actually providing a service and putting people at risk by nit taking care kf them because they cant bill for those people. I feel guilty getting my paycheck from this employer. However, it is hard to find something wuth my desired salary and i need this to be able to continue to pay my mortgage. Its been hard to get up everyday to do this meaningless work and be nice to these aholes. I dont trust them to state how i feel. Any advice on how to cope?

Employer Match Withheld

Hello, need some advice. For several months my retirement match was not placed in my retirement account. Employer reported they had paid the match to the retirement account company. After over half a year that company finally deposited funds but at the current market cost. If they had deposited in a timely manner then my account would have made more profits as the market has trended up for many months. I reported the discrepancy but the retirement account company reports they are not obligated to deposit funds until the 15th day of the 10th month of the year. I feel shorted. They’ve taken an interest free loan from me as far as I’m concerned. I’ve heard this is happening to multiple people under my employer and may be happening across the country. Are they right? Is this fraud? Who would be best to contact? Thanks for any advice.

bitchy shift lead

working at a coffee shop rn, recently had a shift with the cattiest shift lead imaginable. she brings a boyfriend and a fuxking checkers board to work, doesn't do anything but slack off for most of it, get on my ass when the sink in the back overflows (SHE was assigned to the back kitchen, hypocrite), and when I try to make small talk or ask question she acts as if I'm being annoying and I'm bothering her date with her boyfriwnd. Absolute pick me btw, also at the end of the shift we're supposed to mop, so she hands the mop to her boyfriend, acts all giggly when her boyfriend obv has no idea wtf they were doing. This is my second shift ever, so I'm not about to be like “hey shift lead get your shit together” also it's not my goddamn job to. Lo and behold, the…

I’m worried about getting fired in a few weeks when I did nothing wrong

So I currently work for a big UK supermarket in one of their warehouses. I’m on probation and the expectation is to get 85% pickrate. Despite trying my hardest (turning up on time if not earlier, concentrating on the job) I’m struggling to hit 60. This company will fire you on the spot if you don’t hit the 85% pickrate by 12 weeks, I’m on week 7 of my probation. I’m having my doubts I’m going to hit that number and therefore I’ll probably lose my job, despite not doing anything wrong. Don’t know what to do, I only took this job so I could earn money for uni. Its also worth mentioning that as well as the crazy high expectations, there isn’t enough equipment to go around during peak shifts which affects your rate. This company are honestly scumbags and they’re making me so miserable I just don’t wanna…

I’m getting laid off and I have so many in answered questions.

Hi everyone. I’ve worked for my company for just over a year ago and was only recently informed I get lieu days and have probably not been getting paid OT :/ This is great and all however I am getting laid off, along with everyone else, at the this location due to conflicts of leasing. I don’t have enough time to take all my lieu days or even some of them before then and I haven’t received a clear answer on if they will be paid out or if I’m just going to have to suck it. Any input would be greatly appreciated as I am beyond lost and frustrated trying to find out.

Just a heads up, apparently McDonald’s lies about giving bonuses and their salary

They say they'll give you 300$ bonus a month if you get a friend to work there (which was me), well they just fired my bother intentionally to avoid it. Manager also admitted they don't pay 13$ like they say on the sign but 11$. Anything that says “up to X” and involves min wage, you're going to get something barely above 8$. Idk how there hasn't been a massive lawsuit against mcD.

Is there anyone in a corporate job who actually likes their job?

I only see people online that talk about how much they don’t like their job. I just want to see if there are people that are actually happy with their job in corporate America.
