Small vent: I've been job hunting for months now. I have 3 years of experience in customer service and 3 in childcare. I'm also 3 years into a degree in elementary education (I'm taking a break to save money before student teaching). I've tried Indeed, advertising myself on neighborhood apps, and even emailing and calling jobs in my area to no avail. After no luck for so long, I was super excited to score an interview with a VERY prominent tutoring business. During the interview, however, I was told that the job pays only $11 an hour for an 11-8 shift mon-fri. There's also no benefits, which is terrifying for me as I'm currently uninsured. So i’m thinking of giving my 2 weeks notice tomorrow and I want some options. Sorry for the long post, but i need to get this off my chest. For context I am a dental assistant and work for a small private dental office with one dentist, one other assistant besides myself (hired a month after me), one hygienist and one front desk person. I am also 30 weeks pregnant currently. I’ve been working for this office since the end of February of this year. Ever since I started working there i’ve gotten weird/bad vibes about the office and the dentist.
