For context, I don’t live in U.S, and starting to work young isn’t really norm here. I don’t think I have it rough, but even my simple uni internship got me thinking about the work concept again. I just don’t get how majority of the humanity ended up in this situation where they have to give half of their day for decades to actually earn their rights. How people just get used to this? Company announced full RTO today…
…with 1 week's notice Any thoughts on how best to approach this (besides sprucing up the old resume)?

My boss texts me 5min before I'm done “Hey, lunch is only 30min, come back to work.” I don't text back but as I'm making my way back inside, I see him outside literally looking for me. I tell him “I started my break at 12:40, when you texted it hadnt even been a full 30min” he says “oh well breaks don't function like that, they're only on the hour, so 12, or 12:30, 1 or 1:30.” I was just…
In the past few years a lot of companies have layoff thousands of employees and there's a surplus of employees looking for new jobs. I have spend more than 6 months and over 600 application for jobs and every time denied. There's also hundredths of job posted in places like linkedin and indeed. How long do yall think it will take to go back to normal? will it get better soon or will take years like the 2008 home crash?
