So basically I have a new job today, one that I don’t really want and it’s not convenient, I’ll explain in a second. My new job today starts at 11am and runs until 9pm, but the last bus home is 8:40pm, so I’ll have to ask my boss if I can finish earlier to accomodate for my travel, and if he says yes than that’s fine, but I don’t want the job, and if he says no, than my mother will have to pick me up 3 days of the week, and the other two I’ll have to Uber home, but my mother already has two jobs, I don’t want to stress her out, so should I lie to her and say that they found someone else for the role? Or?

Indeed Job Reviews
I am glad that companies have started to out their salary ranges on their job postings, for the most part. But after using Indeed for new work and writing reviews; I hope the next step is to add the job/company reviews to the job postings. The reviews are off to the side in a drop down menu. But, Imagine if a notoriously toxic company posted a Job and just underneath were all the honest experiences of people who had to do the job in the past. Companies use our references and past employers as a judge of us; so we should be able to do the same.
I’m a medical professional. Yes, I’m breaking a contract that said I would stay for a year. However, in the contract it says the penalties for breaking the contract would include “the cost of a white coat, prescription pads, business cards and other potential financial penalties”. I wasn’t happy about breaking the contract, my spouse got a new job in another state, but was willing to pay the couple hundred bucks to cover the items the job purchased for me. My boss is now saying that the other undisclosed financial penalty is my last months wages. I’m hourly, so it’s a non salary position. My boss owns her own practice and calculates all the hours worked in a month and pays it out on the 15th of the next month. I turned in my two weeks yesterday, and my boss (the Doctor) is saying I won’t be paid on the…
Jobs aren’t hiring for some reason?
I've been working fast food for about over a year and some months now and as the management and employees keep changing and the workplace keeps getting worse, I've been trying to apply to other places. For some reason, not a SINGLE place has replied back, and when they do reply back, it's always “We're not looking at the moment” while they have like 4 registers open at said store. I even tried applying back to fast food restaurants and they're not even calling back for an interview and I'm wondering why that is??? Maybe I'm tripping, but are jobs just not hiring anymore what's up with that?

This is the second time this has happened and I'm kind of fed up. I was working at Amazon before which wasn't much but it paid. I was looking for work while I was at Amazon because I wanted a better position which is how I ended up at this new place. Submitted my resume and cover letter per usual and got hired. Honestly there were red flags but it's a relative new non profit so I didn't expect it to operate like other companies I've worked for in the past. Well my first and second days were fine, come the third day I show up. Work for an hour. Then the manager randomly comes in and is basically like… well actually I don't think you're a good match for the position and I'm looking for someone with my experience. Mind you ALL I did for my first 3 days…
