The reason PPP loans were forgiven but not student loans is because the purpose of the government, and the police, is to protect (white) landowning capitalists, not the poor, not the working class, not minorities, not you.

Today I had a “heart to heart” conversation with my manager about how long it took them to get into management and if the pay is adequate. For context, this is retail. When asked about the pay they mentioned how they noticed the pay for assistant managers in retail has gone down since 2020. They said “since COVID in 2020” and “the gen-z bullshit” people are not working as hard so jobs pay less. Well, you heard it here folks. I guess we are a bunch of lazy jack asses and we just need to “work harder” to get more pay. /s Yeah no. I think jobs pay less because during COVID companies laid off staff or shut down for some time and saw the money that didn't need to be used for payroll so they pocketed it. So, the job market is obviously pretty tough right now. I've been applying for jobs for over year and STILL don't have a new one. (I've done everything like tailoring my resume, reaching out to recruiters, etc. But that's long rant for another time) I've gotten several interviews, but they haven't led to anything yet. I've also gotten to the final round of interviews a few times for different companies. After some final interviews and a month or longer of going through the interview process, I was told the position was on hold so I wouldn't be hired at this time. This happened THREE TIMES at three different places. I'm just confused as to what that actually means or if that's just their way of telling me I didn't get the position. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or knows what it means?

I’m the manager of a paintball site. A nice place to work other than the owner. He’s a racist, homophobic, sexist, antisemitic, intolerant, family slave owning, rich mummy’s boy, somehow related to the royal family entitled piece of shit. To summarise anyway. He’s threatened to stab me through the eye whilst holding a screwdriver to my face, gave a young girl a panic attack, stolen people’s wages by demoting and promoting when needed, forcing staff into a pension scheme. Threatening to fire us if we don’t break health and safety laws. List goes on. He has multiple lawsuits against him from staff and customers constantly. Well I’ve recently become the manager of one of his sites, and ended up filming him threatening to slice the artery of one of our staff with the knife in his pocket, which he proudly showed all of…

I work as a mechanic, a couple of days ago, I did a couple of oil changes and an alternator replacement, both oil changes cost 100 dollars each and the alternator cost 300, that took about two hours, I make 350 dollars a week.
