Posts about protesting, physically overthrowing leaders etc get upvoted and agreed upon religiously Realistically, most don’t even know this sub Reddit exists We know how things are, you’re either rich or you’re not etc Just sort of seems like nothing is going to change So many talk, where are the posts of pics etc about what was done? Most of the pics here are of obscure things at a workplace, not what was done about it Not a single pic of a boss being thrown out lol or anything even close, fun to talk about, but then reality sets in

What jobs are people happiest at?
I know it depends on the person but what I am really asking is what job generally has workers at their best well being. A job with tons of challenges may be fulfilling for a lot of people, but I am referring to jobs where you can be with people you like and just be happy I work at Trader Joe's for example and imo that is the closest I can get to a “happy job”. Sure, it's definitely customer service but the job itself makes me happy. I think these kind of jobs are rare tho.
I get that it’s counter productive to make this sub overtly partisan, but it seems odd not to allow posts of politicians supporting workers rights and organized labors.
Overworked & Underpaid Rant
The owner of my company has actually told me that young people have the mindset of only working 8 hour days, and that it’s so hard to convert hourly employees into thinking like salary employees… meaning they think it’s time to go home after an 8 hour day. My workplace is so toxic. They are dipping their hands into all these different fields, trying to diversify and grow, but they expect the employees to always work overtime and to not get a raise, basically ever. I put my foot down on overtime about 2 years ago. I worked so much overtime over the course of two years that I had physical symptoms of stress. I had to go to the doctor because I thought I had nerve damage in my left arm. Recently, I put my foot down about not getting a raise in 3.5 years. I backed it up…
I'm a history buff, and I knew that had happened, but only within the last couple years come to find out just how extremely horrible it actually was. It was literally Purge Night against the Black Folk who lived there. I wonder what our lives would be like, all skins and ethnicities, had that never happened. If the wealth there and other places weren't stolen by stodgy old white people. Hoarded. To be spread down the decades and even century to those who are in power right now. Would our work hours and conditions be better? From my experience, I believe they would be. What do you think?
My old boss screwed over my boyfriend
Okay i'll try to keep this short, but basically Me, my best friend, and my boyfriend have all worked at this Arby's in our town. My best friend has been there the longest and helped both me and my boyfriend get jobs there. I worked there alongside my best friend for about 8 months before i quit on the grounds of “lack of professionalism and the fact that I wasn't being treated with basic respect and favoritism”. A few months ago, my boyfriend obtained a job there and only worked for about a month. During these weeks, He caught a stomach bug and had to call out for two shifts. He was also sent home one day due to feeling sick. (Our friend also had the bug and also had to call out). He had to call out another time because of a VERY important doctors visit he could not…
