It seems pretty obvious that the supreme court is busted, And we already Have proven without a doubt that anthony scalia and clarence thompson are corrupt as fuck, And no matter how corrupt they are, People don't care. Hundreds of thousands if not millions in “donations” to a fucking supreme court judge… It's disgusting, but, I'm starting to wonder if I should care. It doesn't seem like anyone wants to change anything while I'm quite literally ready to occupy a rebellion. I'm starting to feel like I would be happier If I could accept life was a corrupt hell, rather than wanting it to change and nothing happening. So with all that said, When do we French revolution? I'm getting so fed tf up with my job. Week after week after week it's “oh, checks are late this week because the payroll company did blah blah blah” and just… I don't care? Give me my money and give it to me now? They always come up with the money within 3 to 4 days, but that's not the point. Are they just ALLOWED to be late absolutely every single week? In addition to that, I've had 2 checks bounce in the past year. They eventually come up with the money, but now my bank holds all checks for a week going forward, no matter who it's from. Meanwhile, to the best of my knowledge, the company I work for has faced zero consequences. Googling the matter doesn't help, because Google hides results that give you information on the laws that apply to businesses.

Fridays at work, they usually have workers play an arbitrary game for a chance to add a buck or two to your paycheck. For two weeks, despite me mentioning it, they've not had me play. Now I know how Rudolph felt.

Yeah, so I got an overuse injury at my last job through a staffing firm, which could also be aggrevated carpal tunnel, but nobodys sure. My first job I stuck out for 4 years, fast food job. Very lucky to have breaks extremely busy, virtually no downtime. My last year working there a sweet old lady started. We’re gonna call her lyn. Lyn was in her mid 70s having to go back to work. She retired with a great package from some big box retailer she’d been working for, she said she worked there for 40 years. So she busted her ass, worked for a company and stayed loyal for decades. Great right? The American dream to work your ass off for a few decades and then get to retire. Now why was this 70+ year old woman lifting 30+ pound fry boxes 40 hours a week? 4 years into her retirement she had some form of cancer, not sure what kind but she had to go into chemo. I'm just curious if there's an actual thing of a job that one enjoys? I find myself just hating work more and more, doesn't matter what I do. It just seems to be repetitively boring and not worth the pay. It's honestly mind numbing.
