Working as a game tester( like myself) at ubisfoft and other companies like EA must be hell on earth waste of time you;re just a slave to the corporation and collegues are trash and they have their little groups… Idk if this appropriate for this sub but i just wanted to warn people about this -> it's a dead end trash job… I plan to quit next year but idk what i'm gonna do after.

Was working at a print shop busting my ass for 2k a month. Was a trial period and the next pay step was 2.6k. In theory… Also this is in a high cost of living city I am locked into for other reasons. I gave them everything for six months. Improved print quality by making an easy to identify wood quality for the prints. Improved editing speed by setting up new print files and hot keys to reduce the amount of time creating mass print. You get the idea. In need of advice Hey guys, I’ve been a lurker here for a bit but I’m in need of some advice right now. I suffer from migraines, and they’re debilitating to the extent that I can’t work, I have to lay in my room and sleep as best as I can. I have medication for it but it doesn’t work most of the time and even if it does it takes a few hours to kick in fully. I’ve been at my current hotel job for nearly a year, I told HR and my GM as soon as I started that they happen and I can’t control or do anything really except take my medicine and hope for the best. Title about says it all. Good employers are hard to find. Glassdoor, indeed, and all the other apps are biased toward the employer and owner class. All us working people need is a list of employers with unions and decent working conditions organized by area. A little programming can make it snazzy. Given most will have mixed reviews, but it's a start.
