So today our CEO set up a meeting for the whole organization to meet on teams. Turns out that multiple people were laid off today. It was mentioned that they are unsure if more are on the way. But low key hinted that it's not over. These layoffs are across the board of the enterprise. I am just so lost because every quarter it's announced we have been having RECORD BREAKING profits but this shit happens? Also, it sounds like the responsibilities of those that were laid off may end up getting spread across the existing teams with the potential of no pay increase. At this point I am curious if I should start getting proactive and start looking for a new job with increase pay and better benefits before I end up in the chopping block.. I am trying not take this personal but it's really hard not to…

Sorry in advance of typos and grammar this is a long story! I recently started working at a small spiritual boutique. Every since I started working there I had always felt ‘out’; Im spiritual but these people were crossing line into anti-vax somewhat problematic territory. The beginning of the end started when I got pulled aside by my manger to talk about some problems that were affecting the team. My manger proceeded to tell me that the people around me think I’m spiritual upset and just look depressed and that its effecting everyone around me. hello, just looking for some advice here… i 23f have a disability that i was recently wrongfully terminated for (dealing with that now). i have now applied for a relatively laid back position at a big grocery store near me. my question is, should i mention that i have a disability & request reasonable accommodations (frequent bathroom breaks, needing to sit sometimes due to dizziness) during the interview or after, once hired? i want to be honest & upfront at first so i don’t have any issues with “not having mentioning it during onboarding” & risk getting fired if i have issues due to my disability (this wasn’t the case with my old job, my disability developed during my time working there, & once i started having issues, i made it clear i was dealing with health issues then let them know once i was officially diagnosed), but i fear…

So I do door to door canvassing. It was near the end of our shift and I finished my neighborhood. I then sat down on the corner to take my 10 min break. During this, my manager pulls up in the van to pick me up, as it was around the time to get picked up and head to the office. I get in the van and he start berating me for sitting down. I just printed out my resignation letter. I am so done with this place and what it has become and the toxic bosses. They can kiss my ass. And don't forget to give me my PTO, I was never able to take.

All the billionaires in the United States are worth 4.48 trillion dollars and that’s just counting the billionaires. With that money you could hand out 4.4 million to 100 million people in the untied states let’s say. Or to be fair give every citizen in the country a million dollars. I think the pandemic proved that our money ain’t worth shit. The moment everyone had a paltry couple grand in their accounts supplies tanked. Capitalism is the greatest scam since organized religion. It only has value through forced scarcity and if that wasn’t the case there would be no goods to purchase. It pisses me off that I’m breaking my back everyday for something that’s worth nothing while contributing to this broken system.
