This has spiraled out of control. I was working a specific role but this company abuses the “other duties assigned” and has me and my team doing basically everything while they tired to outsource my old job but are failing (outsourced workers aren’t doing it right bc it’s sort of a skilled job). Where do we go from here? We are now just expected to do these different roles we recently got trained on and the work keeps adding in with no increase in pay. At this point, it would make more sense and save the company money if they just took the money they paid to the outsourced workers and gave us raises. I recently received an email that Student Loan interests will resume soon. It has been on pause throughout the whole situation with COVID and the legislation enacted by Congress. I have been paying for the last 5 years on an income-driven repayment plan, but it's pretty much a lost cause as it's barely going down at all. The thing is I don't live in the US anymore and don't really have any plans to go back.
