Bro you all better start working
Difficult co worker
What is the best way to tell an overbearing, goody to shoes, who wants to push work onto you and questions your schedule that she is not your BOSS she is your co-worker? I’ve already told me boss and she says “she’s not your freaking boss” but clearly she doesn’t seem to comprehend that. She thinks because she’s been in the position longer she’s in charge and she’s not. There’s three of us and one boss. Who is not her. How do I say it professionally without being a raging bitch? She causes me anxiety and makes me hate working. I don’t want to explode because then I get in trouble and have already for how I’ve spoken to her. Of course I got written up. Any advice is appreciated.
How do I respond to this??
I cut my finger at work and got a bill for going to Urgent care. Urgent care made me sign workers comp paperwork so I told my manager & boss about it. They have yet to pay the bill. They seem like they don’t even know what workers comp is. Wtf do I do? It’s been 9 months. I’m in CA. I’m just so over this shit.
Crappy management
This is a little bit of a rant and im on mobile so bear with me but im so tired of retail yall. So i started a new job on monday and ive never wanted to quot a job so quickly. Im the new assistant manager and my store manager is so incredibly nit picky over the smallest things. She says out of hand things like 'parents who say because i said so are abusive and deserve their kids taken away' or 'children are a blessing and a womans duty'. We were having a conversation about autism and i mentioned my boyfriend brother has autism and she called me an ablist for saying he has autism. Well yesterday when i came in she did a 1 week review which ive never heard of before. She started it off by telling me i cant wear similar clothes everyday and need to…
I work for an environmental consultancy company in which we are responsible for designing waste treatment systems for factories and such. I started working in March 2023 as the project engineer, where it was stated in my JD that my main task is to make proposal, schedules, design plants using AutoCad. When I started working there, there was another engineer, (servicing engineer) where his main job is to solve any maintenance/technical issues at site where the treatment plant is located, where he had to go there and solve those issues. However, the guy has submitted his 3 months notice due to arguments he had with the boss. And he has like 2 weeks left before leaving the company. However, I've noticed that I have to take his responsibilities now that he's leaving the company. I wouldn't mind helping out, but I've noticed that my workload (this includes the projects I…
