Wanting advice from people with the same ideals as me. I am a frequent job hopper. Since I quit my fast food job (I was 18 at the time and was there for a year) in March 2020, every job I have had I’ve only stayed at for a max 4 months. I’m in college but i desperately need a resume when I apply for grad school next year. I’m about to hit 3 months at my current job. Please any advice. It sucks. So bad. I hate myself for it.

Was just thinking about a couple jobs where I had to use old-school time cards with a time printer. One job (in 2018 no less) still used a time card/printer setup, but the damned thing was just sitting on a table, not mounted to a wall or anything like usual, and it would fucking move everywhere while you tried to line up the right box on the card through that dumb little window. I only worked there a couple days because they were using some random piece of sheet metal for a dock plate, and it shifted a bit the couple times I drove across. I started this new position about a month ago. It pays a very low salary (almost nothing), but then pays “commission”. It's a complicated calculation for commission, but basically it's a combination of work output, client relationship scores, and business deals. I was skeptical about this pay structure, but the hiring manager assured me that the AVERAGE employee made above $170k in commissions last year. I'm pretty good at what I do, so I figured if I could at least do average, I would be raking in the dough! Well, after working there for about a month, I realized that my commissions are on target for a ridiculously low amount. TW: Some swearwords So I work in a coffee shop (canadas version of dunkin donuts) and I have a supervisor who downright mistreats everyone except those she likes. No problem is her fault, she can do no wrong you know the type. Theres a second nightshift supervisor who actually treats you like a human being shes sweet, and awesome. She is gone for a week next week and she deserves it, shes an extremely hard worker. Problem is im left with my problem supervisor, and because im new I cant complain to my boss, I cant call her out on her bullshit. We had a girl from another store covering today, and even SHE commented on how we were getting abused by our supervisor. So yeah im not surviving next week basically, so I guess its time to break out the old resume to basically just move jobs 🥲

We have this stupid system at work that your PA is measured by 30 KPI's. So every year each one of the KPI is allocated a point and tallied up to give a point out of 5. If you get a 3.xx you are doing what is expected from the company and get a ±5% increase. If you get a 4.xx you ar le exceeding what is expected and get a 6-7% increase. Long story short this is the third time our manager manually took my score from a 4 to a 3. They claim it's a bell curve which automatically takes people down to fit in the company's set value. Please help me.. I am sitting on my ass to apply to this one job.. but I havent been able to come around to make my resume for it.. I can essentially just send them the resume I have but as with many other jobs it will get rejected/ So, I am gonna play their game and make my resume for the job I am applying for.. I won't lie, but I will only give the information which is relevant.. but still I am lazy.. I worked like an ass whole day, and after work. Im going to fail my probation due to making too many mistakes. (I try hard but can’t overcome medical condition) How do I ensure that I can obtain unemployment? Does anyone know how it’s determined? What I read online just says they will contact your work to determine the facts to make their decision. I would like to stop delaying the inevitable but also want unemployment for a month. Is it possible I don’t get unemployment if they fire me for just being bad at my job. (No misconduct) Please help! (I am in Wisconsin)

For reference, I work overnights at a plant and I'm the only one there. It is possible to run this small plant with only one person but the overnight work SHOULD be done by two people (another topic). I do NOT like calling on call, for any reason. I don't want to. I get that those guys chose their job and knew they'd have to be on on-call sometimes but I don't like it. I don't like waking them up, I don't like disturbing their rest, and I especially don't like when they have to attend to something. I woke them from a good sleep just so they can hear about some bs alarm. I get it, we need them on standby in case an emergency comes up for whatever reason because I can't leave.
