So I quit my job today, it was only 14.50 an hour lol. What made me quit was a bully. Someone tried to bully a co worker. I stepped in and I got in trouble. So i was like screw ya all. I asked for HRs email and phone number 4 times and was never given it. So I Quit on the spot…. IO SOLUTIONS shitty company to be with. Have yall ever had this situation?

20 years – Not A Single Sick Day
A colleague of mine (in UK) just passed the 20 year mark without a single sick day. He was surprised management didn’t get him anything to commemorate this impressive achievement. Not only this none of the management even gave him a verbal well done. I told him he was a mug for expecting anything from them, so I bought him a Wispa Gold to ease the pain.
I'm finally escaping the hotel I work at for a better property, better pay, and better treatment. My gm here has sexually harassed me, deliberately messed with my schedule to punish me (I work overnight), and loves to talk about my body and personal problems to the rest of the staff. I really want to mess with him when I leave. I already plan to print out tiny pictures of myself and spread them around for him to randomly find. Short of anything illegal what else can I do? I don't want to hurt any of my other coworkers, just him. Give me your most devious ideas!
I saw it coming. I kept being late and calling in. I the end, I was utterly depressed in my job. In the beginning, I was committed. I had a fire in my heart that could not be quenched. I felt like I would conquer anything and everything in my path. I believed in myself, my ability, and my mental fortitude. I looked at myself in the mirror and envisioned success and I brought it. I wanted to climb the ladder. It was looking good in the first two years. I was getting good marks. Down the road, 5 of my relatives who were extremely dear to me left this life. It destroyed a pillar I had built inside of myself that kept me up. I got a promotion to a role I thought would be great, but it turned out to be cold calling. Every damn day cold calling…
Company is a massive well known but recruiter wouldn’t give a salary range said it was confidential and forced me to give one… For some context about 1 year post bachelor switching industry – similar position Gave a range of 60k-65k they said they were very glad that’s within range. Is there any way I can negotiate higher even after I gave my range? Looking to start at 70k so it’s not like it’s a huge jump but do I have a chance after showing my cards ?
so to give context i’m 18 and i’m saving for a trip to london and scottland. i work as a server in a small town tex-mex restrant. well so today there was a table of 3 that walked in (1 adult and 2 kids ranging from 1-5). i sat them down, asked there drinks (all half/half tea), and then got them there chips and salsa. some time passes and the eldest of the children has the bright idea to dump the chips and salsa all over himself and the floor. kids do this all the time so i’m used to it. i got my rag cleaned up the table and get them all new chips and salsa. more time passes and then they order, the adult (or mother) of the children orders a lunch size dinner feheatás (sorry i can’t spell) she wanted vegges i worked her that it would…
I stumbled upon a trend that I find quite concerning and wanted to get your opinions and legal advice on the matter. Recently, I've noticed an increase in work-from-home (WFH) or remote job listings on platforms like Indeed and LinkedIn. While this seems like a great opportunity, I can't help but wonder if some of these job offers might be scams. Has anyone else noticed this trend? Have you or someone you know encountered any suspicious job postings? I would appreciate any insights or experiences you could share. In particular, I'm curious about the following: The legitimacy of remote job offers: How can we differentiate between genuine opportunities and potential scams? Are there any red flags we should watch out for? Personal data security: What steps should we take to protect our personal information when applying for remote jobs online? Legal recourse: If someone does fall victim to a scam,…
