My current job is running me ragged and my boss expects me to grin and bear it but also I need to relax and take time for myself as the ASM. I am currently setting up an interview for a new job but want to professionally say I am being taken advantage of and my boss won't listen to me. What can I say to that?

Just absolutely fed up with corporate greed and bs companies. Worked for this company for five months.Stopped coming in, now they come up with random deductions to not pay out my last check. It really sucks because I really needed that but I know it’s only on me to overcome all obstacles put in front of me.

Hello, I am a college sophomore with no prior job experience, and I have been applying for jobs since late July. I do not know how much information I can provide, but on Indeed, I applied for a Business Representative position listed under a company called ezWay. It stated that it allowed for flexible scheduling, with employees only needing to work 3-4 hours on weekdays and earning up to $3000 a month (at least $30/hour). That may raise some red flags but after applying to 20 other jobs that either declined my application or didn't even respond after two weeks, I just wanted to test my luck. I am only picky about flexible scheduling because I am a full-time university student who has enough financial support at the moment. The past 3 months I’ve been working 43 since I moved out and live on my own. And I’m really bothered because before Labor Day I asked for full time and the store manager hemmed and hawed and shrugged his shoulders and made excuses. And low and behold I worked 43 hours the holiday week and worked on the holiday and received no holiday pay. I’m tired of the exploitation. I’ve held this job for 8 years currently and didn’t have need for full time due to life situation. Now is different.

Today I quit my full time job… I feel a massive weight lifted off my chest. Toxicity is a problem, especially when you feel it coming from yourself…. Time to work for myself and on myself.
