People who write their own names in notebooks, have their name on little display boards all around their office space. Did you forget how to spell your name? Why do you need to see it? People who have stuff laying around like “I'm a monarch” “I'm a queen” “I'm a boss” etc. It sickens me working with such narcissistic people. They're all business majors or have taken some business classes, and narcissism is higher among business students. How much does leadership mean it when they say “We want you to succeed”? (TLDR I'm being illegaly required to take lunch breaks even though it's detrimental to me. Been at my current job for just about a year, sort of middle of the totem pole. The owner of the company does not attend most online meetings but rather sends a bot that records it for him. I find this extremely rude because he is suppose to attend these meetings so we can ask him questions or get answers. I'd be fine if it was a policy that every meeting gets recorded so it can be rewatched for people that weren't there, but when he just sends a bot where he is a required attendee in the meeting, to me is like taking the piss. Do you think this is normal, or am I overreacting?

Former Employer Appealing Unemployment
After a year and a half of employment I was fired in July (reduction in force) from Spacestation in Utah and received 30 days of severance. I filed for unemployment after that ran out and I am dependent on it to pay my mortgage. To my surprise, last week I received a notice that my unemployment is being appealed and I have a hearing on Oct 3rd. I'm pretty anxious about it getting pulled. I'm pushing hard for a new job but have had no progress in 2.5 months. Is there anything I can or should do to help my case? This is the message that was sent in the appeal.
