In a previous post I went into rather greater detail about my situation at work and now stuff happened, that I wanted to share. TLDR of my last post. I have a work contract (in retail) that runs until end of September and have now a new Position in my dreamjob ready for October. Since I broke the news to my current employer they are have a really bad Attitude against me. I live in the EU so I have 6 weeks vacation and at the start of the year scheduled 2 weeks for end of September (now). As I wont renew my contract and therefore wont Work the whole calender year, I had 7 days vacation left instead of the originally planned 12 (Work Week is Monday to Saturday, so 6 days). I just got a new job offer and am having a hard time making a decision. I don’t like starting work before 7am (mostly because I hate having to go to bed early) but having a chance to work a 4 day work week with significantly higher pay is hard to turn down. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I work as a cashier and I can't stand for more than absolute maximum four hours without some kind of sitting break. But if I go four hours, then the next four are absolute hell. I get tired after only one hour so four is really pushing it. I keep getting told to make an accommodation, but in order to do that, I have to go through my doctor. The doctor has to fill out paperwork and send it back to the hr agency. My doctor and the nurse are on maternity leave and the person covering them is so backed up I haven't been able to get in for over a month. My claim has expired twice. The first time I didn't understand what paperwork they wanted and the second time the doctor couldn't get me in fast enough. In the meantime, every time I go into work I…

(This is without some knowledge but just wanna vent). I requested days off for thanksgiving and Christmas this year due to family being out of town planning in advance. My boss said he can’t request Christmas off (thanksgiving an exception) and even if I had to call out, they would fire me. I’m just not sure why dennys is the only restaurant that opens during Christmas or certain holidays while most restaurants are closed. I had to work overtime without wanting one last year and missed my Christmas. This will possibly be the second Christmas I work all day unless I get fired and get unemployment :/

I only work with like 5 other people in a small setting, and I work maintenance. I love the people I work with, but was wondering if the small number of people or LLC status of this company bars me or someone else from taking action.
