You wage slave till you're at least 65 or even older. Society don't give af about you. They don't care about your needs or wants. How do people not revolt? Fuck working, especially fuck working till you're old and broken, and broken down. Working is slavery

A previous job we were at our daily meeting and they were making a big deal about what we what can we do to be better about training and I just started laughing the supervisor knew me he knew I had an opinion about it he asked you got something to say I was like I don't know if you want to know what I got to have to say(this was brought up privately)He said no I want honest opinions I was like training around here you just get thrown in the deep end and figure it out this was also a very heavily regulated industry. He looked around and asked everybody does everybody agree with that not one person object. I think I've been there 6 months and I told him the only reason I know as much as I do is cuz I'm aggressive as hell every time…
People who say just quit
Question, I see many people often say, “If you want to quit, just don't show up to the job, you owe them nothing.” Doesn't that hurt your career when you interview for another job and they want to check references? I get it if it is a seasonal job, but what about a career where this can bite you in the butt? I'm curious because I've always felt hostage to my employer in some way. Even now, when I was laid off, I kind of reported some bad behavior before they let me go and I'm afraid they could use that to retaliate against me. Though as I write this, I realize that this would be illegal wouldn't it? I'd love to read your thoughts on this. I hate feeling trapped and hostage to an employer. I want that freedom that I see so many of you demonstrate.
Now, I am living in Thailand, and while the pay rate I would be quoting may seem low in USD, it is not considered bad here. The average wage is around 15,000 bht (480 USD). I work as an interpreter and I had three job offers. One was from a leather manufacturer, offering 40,000 bht with working days from 8-5, Monday to Saturday. The second offer was from a legal firm, offering 45,000 bht, 8-5 from Monday to Saturday, but it was only a one-year contract. The third offer was from a camping car company, offering 35,000 bht. The working hours were from 7:30-4, Monday to Thursday, with Fridays off every other week due to engineers' meetings. I'm currently working as a freelance translator bringing in 35,000-70,000 bht a month already, so I took the camping car company's offer, since it offered the most free time for me to still…
Like acting like they get anything more than a pathetic little bonus MAYBE if they outperform other stores in the area? Like holy fuck shut the fuck up how are you THAT enthusiastic about meaninglessly siphoning wealth into the upper classes from your fellow workers that you can attach any amount of self worth to that? It’s so fucking pathetic. Like little dogs barking to their masters for a treat. But they don’t realize how fucked what they’re doing is I mean just like trying to sell so much shit to people that they don’t need it shut the fuck up you are willfully enthusiastically enforcing the beliefs of the upper class onto your fellow lower class workers. It’s so fucking stupid. I don’t understand how everyone is just on board with it. I can’t say shit too of course. Just smile and act like i give a shit. Just…
CEO logic (meme)
This is inspired by the 13yr old that posted here and just realised the fact that he would have to work Monday to Friday till retirement, if that ever comes. I completely understand your perspective and feeling. I had the same when I first entered the workforce. However, to put it a bit into perspective: regardless of where you live (US or EU) you are born in the best time period possible for humanity. Just 200 years ago you would have had to work from 6 years old to death and 500 years ago life would have been completely, unimaginably different.Yes, you have to work and that will cost you a lot of your most valuable asset: time.On the other hand, even for a lower class income, compared to other humans in the past you will live your days in relative luxury with enough food, a roof over your head…
