My company makes us take vacation days before unpaid days, even if we scheduled vacation days in advance. So if you schedule vacation days at the beginning of the year, run out, and something comes up where you need a day off, you have to switch one of your vacation days to an unpaid day. I just found out today, after looking at my paystubs and talking to my boss, that my company rounds down my hours if I don't clock out in a perfect 15 minute increment (0:00, 0:15, 0:30, 0:45). Some days they took off 14 minutes from my total time worked that day, other days 3 minutes etc. Is this legal? I'm in Colorado. Thanks!

I work at an email job with a little bit of customer interaction. My workload is split up into two people, but my coworker was recently fired after being excessively late and calling out. I was assigned his work and told it would be temporary but it seems like it is going to be a permanent arrangement. I am swamped with work. This happened to me just once, it was and over 10 years ago, but I still found it very unusual back then and whenever I told other people in my profession, it shocked them as well. I work a retail job for just over minimum wage. I have open availability, because openly available colleagues get more hours than closed. Anyway, this means that my manager can schedule me for anytime of the day/night. Today she announced that there’s a new shift we should be expecting to see, starting at 3:30 IN THE MORNING. I work for a startup that clearly has been having cash flow issues over the last six months. At one period between May and June, I had three months' worth of pay pending. The situation has since improved for me but as of today, I am still owed my pay for the month of August. Some colleagues have been owed pay since June.
