I have a manager who completely ignores you when you greet him he will even look at you when you say it and I say it loud too then he looks away and continues walking straight past you. It is weird though because when I think im not going to bother wasting my breath on this arsehole he will say hi. I acknowledged him today and got the Cold shoulder it's absolutely bizarre behaviour in all my Years never had anyone with this mannerism. Don't know if it's because he was in the navy or his just a dick. Anyone have this sort of person in their workplace?

Hate your boss? Being forced to do his job of finding cover when you are off? Having holidays bounced? Wage theft? Promised pay rises not appearing? Abuse? Forced exit interviews? Being made to train your replacement? Fuck it. Get a better job, quit without notice, refuse to train your replacement up. And most importantly of all… Tape a kipper under his desk before you leave. I got hired at this fine dining restaurant 3 months ago as a server assistant and have been told repeatedly that when a serving spot came up I would get it. 2 people got fired and one quit, so I was excited that I was going to move up. They even had me serve for the 2 days the people were scheduled after they got fired. Well, today the hiring manager just let me know she hired 3 new servers and for absolutely no reason didn’t move me up. This is just a random musing. Not complaining. I could get paid more but it's not too bad. Currently working in a commercial plumbing / HVAC office. My one benefit, profit sharing, was pulled without word about a year and a half ago. Fine. We must not be making money. But right now I'm looking at a billing form. We charge $165 an hour for our foremen. They make ~50 plus probably 3 an hour in benefits and we have 10% overhead. So in my quick math, 10 + 20 / 50 * 165 equals a LOT of money. And that's just labor. No materials, no design work, no project management. Even apprentices who make about 20 an hour are being billed at $79.16. All because he got an outdated report in regards to a change in our payroll system that needs all employees to set up our information through a new application in an email sent to our personal emails. My employee signed off on its completion during my scheduled days off, but my DMs multiday old report that they sent him TODAY said she hadn't done it. I've been at this job for about 4.5 months now and I've hated it since day one. I'm doing a volume of work that should be split between two people, the culture sucks, and I get no PTO for a year. There's a ton of little things that make it just miserable and I've hit my breaking point. I'm done. I called in sick yesterday and today because I've had a horrible migraine.
