Sent email (photo below) to my employer yesterday…letting her know that I’m quitting immediately. And for her to send my final check to my address. How long does she have to actually send the check?

Vacation Donation Shouldn’t Exist
If a coworker is having a medical emergency and they've exhausted all of their vacation time then the company should just give them more vacation instead of asking for other coworkers to donate their time. In my opinion things like this go a long way in keeping employees happy and loyal which is more profitable for a company in the long run.
My sister loves the work she does but is being suffocated by her institution. Her job/office is working to end SA/DV and support suvivors at the institution. No one else seems to care expect her small office and others make her work almost impossible to do. She did get another job in the field but is sad she was forced to leave her soon to be old job that she moved states for. So… I baked her a vegan cake! If you're leaving your job too we'll save a slice for you This post is basically a shout out to everyone choosing their wellbeing, sanity, and lives over a job
What would you say/do?
At work we were given mentors. These conversations are supposed to be confidential as well. My mentor is an executive and we were discussing my career path. I love my job and what I do and I’m a high performer who consistently receives exceeds expectations but I’m stuck in my career ladder because nothing above me is available. I mentioned this to her to maybe get some advice as I really want to stay with this company. I’ve been here for quite some time and moved up fairly quickly. Well her advice was that my previous employee that I used to manage is set to be promoted soon (to a higher level than me) and she mentioned his position would be open. I told her that I wouldn’t be interested because I’m looking to move up not back where I used to be. Leaving that meeting I feel beyond insulted…
I lost my job at the end of January this year and it took me 6 months to find a new one. The job I have now is amazing! Great hours, decent pay, not too much stress, and good coworkers. Things haven't been going great for the company for a while, but it wasn't dire until now. My boss (the owner) let me know today that if we can't get the rent paid this month then he will just have to cut everyone checks and send them on their way. Obviously I've immediately started job searching but I am so scared it will take me another six months to find employment. Last time, I was incredibly fortunate to receive a decent inheritance check that was able to help me pay for some of my expenses. I don't have that now and I am feeling so anxious and scared for the…
So I’m new to recruiting (less than 1 year experience) and hoping to get some experience through commission based jobs so at the moment I’m seeking out a healthcare recruiting job that after receiving more details I found out it only pays 3-4% commission, I’d be recruiting nurses but I can’t help but notice how poor this commission structure is, I was so baffled that I asked her to give me an example to which she explained that if someone I selected made $3000 a week, for the first 30 days I’d get $640 then 13 weeks later I’d get $1300, and that’s it. I know I’m new but this isn’t even an entry level position they’re just more open to accepting anyone since they’re commission based. Am I just overthinking and is this actually a good structure ?

Keep in mind the front desk associates jobs are to scan key fobs and sign people up for membership. At every meeting for the last 4 months since I started my manager has been threatening to do this.
Overwhelmed at new job
Help can someone please help my overwhelming anxiety in my new job. I don't know what to do, I want to do well but I'm just not getting it, the process or the workload I can't quit as I need the money The person who I'm taking over from sees this and ignores it My boss is on leave for another month and I'm afraid I'll miss deadlines Is there any way I can cope or help myself get ahead of things Thank you
