I’m supervisor/lower management. Wtf am I supposed to do about poop on the staff toilet seat and obvious splatter on wall. Serious question. I don’t know how to even approach this situation. All I can think is that it’s either someone not in their right mind or it’s purposeful? I’m at a loss. There is one bathroom in our specific work area that around 30+ people may use in a day. There are many other restrooms in building of course. This one is exclusively used by our department.

This is going to be a bit of a long story so bear with me. I (33 NB) have been working at this small hospitality business (literally five employees or fewer at any given time) since I graduated university in the summer of 2013. I initially worked for the original owner who was and is a longtime family friend, who hired me not just because she knew me and could trust me but also because I was/am overqualified for the job(s) I perform and do them with incredible efficiency and quality. A few years ago, that boss retired, and my current boss/his wife took over. I didn't know this at the time, but the new boss dropped the wages of pretty much all the other employees down at least $2/hr and left mine the same ($13), which when I found out, I told them they needed to raise the housekeepers…

I work 8-10 hour shifts 5 days a week as a pharmacy tech and I come home exhausted, in pain from standing all day. My body is killing me, my sciatica is starting to get really bad (will be seeing a chiropractor and getting better shoes soon). I sat down today to pay my bills and I'm seeing my credit card balances go higher and higher and I watch my paychecks cover less and less every pay period. I feel like I am in a grave, having dirt shoveled on me while I'm still alive. I feel like an animal backed into a corner. It doesn't seem to matter how many hours I work because so much is taken out in taxes. It doesn't matter how many of my belongings I sell on eBay to make a little extra cash. Rent is more than half of one of the only…
So just a little context. I work for a family office in a third world country that is in a downward spiral. And like everyone else here I’m looking to move abroad. I recently got an offer from a global asset management company to work at their office in my country (off site) and the salary is 5x my current salary. Global experience (even if its off site) would definitely help me get a job abroad. Anyways I handed in my resignation last week to my HoD. A couple of days later I got a phone call from our CEO, who lives in New York btw. And he basically yells at me for 30 mins telling me how Im ruining my life etc. Then goes on to talk shit about every ex employee who resigned and how they fucked up their own lives by quitting etc. However, one thing that…
