I'm 22 and neurodivergent as hell. I have gone through like 7 jobs since i turned 16. I enjoyed one of them (5 hrs a day cleaning past closing hours) and i'm okay with my current job (4-8 hrs a day apartment reconstruction aid working with a family member) my every other job (cashier, 3 shift freezery technician, sales assitant, office data entry and sales,..) made me extremely miserable and without a doubt some of these jobs made me suicidal. I'm in a long term relationship and in the past two years i've been realizing i'd probably be the happiest as a childfree housewife, taking care of the home and pets and all the chores that go with it and being able to give all my energy and joy to my husband, cultivating a happy home. I am manager in a franchise restaurant is the US, I always been on time and never called out, right now we are a little slow, so is only the other manager and me working in the kitchen that day. The same day I get a call from my wife that she’s feeling extremely bad and had to go to the ER, in my rush I told the other manager I had to leave to see my wife, when I got there I started getting calls and messages the owner that “the store is a responsibility and you cannot leave like that” and “you need to tell me first and make a plan” and I was warned is the last time is going to happen.. So i have basically 0 references. I am in college yet i never asked any if my professors for a reference since i do the bare minimum in their classes. I need some references for jobs since it makes my resume look good and some actual jobs require them. If anyone can help me out that would be great! Thank you in advance!

Now why in the hell do you have to be in a specific area to work remotely for a position when you're never going into the office or it's cloud based and everyone works from home? Is there something I'm missing here? I notice it's just harder for people to get remote jobs in rural areas. It's such bs. Most of the time if you don't live in a big city you can't work remote.

We had a three way convo and the lead teacher was still hostile after the convo. So I decided to quit without a two week. It’s like the director knew I was going too. The day after the meeting she said,” please put in a two week notice and know that the grass isn’t greener on the other side” the fuck???? I’ve had way better jobs then this one so I’m not gonna be brainwashed thinking that the grass isn’t greener on the other side. I’ve been told that when breaking up with toxic boyfriends and now I have an amazing boyfriend so the grass IS greener…
