So I’m in the Uk, and today at work I was stopped to do random search on my car, I said no. I read over my contract and there is nothing about vehicle search’s can anythjng happen to ? Edit: forgot to add, there were using some sort of device which fell out there hands and scratched my car, anything I can do?

I found a job listing that was perfect, I even turned down higher paying jobs so I could work in a field I'm passionate about, the interview went stellar and the first couple weeks seemed promising, however, it's 4 months later and I'm only doing clerical work, when the job is mid-senior level. Additionally, they surprisingly hired 2 people at the same time for my job title, and we both shockingly learned that day 1. I requested a meeting with my supervisor over a month ago, he dismissed it and said I was “meeting expectations”, except, these aren't the expectations I was hired for. Why advertise a specific job description and then not utilize it? Why hire 2 people for the same position without informing the candidates? Why not hire more clerks to do the day-to-day ops if that's what's needed, and then let the Managers focus on troubleshooting and…

Pretty much that. I work in manufacturing and as a courtesy we let each other know if we are leaving the line. I generally turn to the person behind me and say, ” I have to use the bathroom, I'll be right back.” There are a few people who will just announce to whoever is in the area things like “I've gotta take a piss/dump” or variations of that. Is this something that only irks me? Because I really don't need to know anyone's bathroom habits at work.

I have asthma, so sometimes I'll breathe out a bit heavy if I'm not getting enough oxygen. It doesn't happen often. One time I was told off for doing it because apparently it sounded like I was “in a bad mood, and it's unprofessional.” So basically I was told off for breathing. If anyone can top that, I'd love to hear about it.

I posted yesterday about my job and didn’t realize I included the name of the company in something I copy/pasted. Thanks to a few people here who took that info and proceeded to call and threaten employees at my work I have been fired. Moral of the story: careful what you post here. Not everyone here has your best interests at heart. Also to those who called and made threats, what you did was very wrong and not helpful in any way.
