Pretty much the title, I am curious to look at some companies that are having serious issues due to RTO. (High turnover, low productivity, losing clients for performance and timeline issues would be most ideal) It’s a little bit complicated as many companies are using RTO as a layoff method due to their own business slowing down. I am not really curious about these, I am looking for issues that fairly directly point to an RTO policy. Would be happy to hear anything about your experiences with this. If you don’t want to post company name I understand and would be totally happy with some info about industry and company size or maybe product/service

My boss makes £85k a year as a CEO I make £30k a year How is it fair that someone makes so much money for sitting on his ass all day and doing much less work and hours than me a week. What happened to equality? Change my mind!

So I just quit my job (after 34 days) as an assistant director of a daycare and MAN! Y’all who use daycare are in serious trouble!! The staff called out EVERYDAY and I was forced to work in the classroom AND ensure that the daycare was compliant in case the state ever came in to do an audit! It was TERRIBLE!!!! I was on SALARY!! Which was a MEASLY 18/hr after all of the taxes taken out of my check but of course I never saw overtime. Since I was “management” I was expected to work 7 days a week sometimes from open to close with NO BREAK! They literally scorned me if I wanted to leave to get something to eat! ABSOLUTELY NOT! I had an interview today was with “duck insurance brand” and I am so mad. It was just an hour long zoom call where I didn't even get to speak to a real person. It was just a pre-recorded video with the manager boasting about how much money they make (and you can too) that ended with a phone number I was supposed to text my information, to. I was on mute the whole time, couldn't unmute. You don't need to make the interview process even more complicated than it already is. Shit or get off the pot. Interview me in person, allow me to ask questions, or don't fucking bother. I don't even mind that it was over zoom. That's reasonable. It's the fact that the person “interviewing” me wasn't even there. I fucking showed up, the very least they could have done is the same

Man, I like work- not just the act of working overall, but this specific fast food joint, I like my coworkers, I like every shift lead and even the secondary manager- but my hate has been growing for the primary manager ever since I started. Today I came in at my scheduled time today- an opener, which it’s my first time doing. I could tell I wouldn’t have time to eat at home, so I brought food with me to eat. I go through the prep tasks I had to do, and because I’m on front dress, and we open in a few minutes, I know I won’t have any customers for a solid 30 minutes, so I sit down and start eating in the break room. My floor manager is usually very nice and in fact was the only one who was nice to me when I first started working. Yesterday how ever you she was being a pain in my behind. She later actually started RISING HER VOICE at me and turned red in the face. Why? Because she told me to leave at 3:00 even though I was told to stay too 3:30. Everyone at the store looked back at me with pity. I thought it was ridiculous that she behaved like that in public nonetheless work. In the moment I didn’t say anything. But it made me very sad. I have work today but I was thinking of either snitching on her, or talking to her myself when I see her. I should’ve cried tbh and made a bigger scene but I thought she was so weird so acting like that uncalled for.
