TLDR; Credit card company I worked for was ridiculous with review expectations and was very scummy to new employees. First this happened years ago and I haven't worked for this company for years. I saw a post in another thread that brought up all the memories and figured I would share here while it's semi fresh. I started working for a call center for a major credit card company years ago and was supposed to be in there collections department. I was originally hired for 30 days collections which is customers behind 30-60 days. Simple enough. The training class was I believe 6 weeks but I won't made it 2 weeks in before they pulled me and 3-4 others out and said we would be going to a different department. Natural gas leak at work
Best option?
I work at . I use a single headphone while working, usually a podcast or some other soother. I have anxiety and am neurodivergent so it helps me focus and helps me navigate my mental health and sensory challenges. Pretty much everybody does this at some point in their day. Remember to work your wage
I work for an IT MSP which is basically a sweatshop for IT workers. It can get stressful but I'm the lowest paid worker since I'm fresh but after a year of experience I am now more relaxed. I no longer try to do the work of 2 ppl. I have tickets and calmly do them with no rush. If I finish everything I won't get a raise. High turn over rate with MSPs. So, I'm working my wage; minimum effort for minimum pay
