So basically I lied on my resume to get AI to schedule me for an interview. It worked! I said I was a claims associate at a company that no longer exists. I used to work there a long time ago in customer service. The company is a security company, similar to ADT. What can I say I did ?

I thought boredom would have kicked in by now but if I’m bored, I take a nap. I sold my house and I’m paying the bills with it. Not sure if this is the right sub, but was curious if this is a normal occurrence. I have been co-leading a huge system wide project for nearly seven months. Many people involved, but I’ve been a key player throughout. I was asked to develop a project/abstract out of the work which I wrote and developed extensively. Hours and hours of work. It got accepted as a podium AND poster presentation at a conference and I wrote a second abstract for another larger conference per their request. Today I was informed by the big wigs that they will take it from here and be the speakers on all presentations and have hired EXTERNAL people to write the presentation, make the poster and rewrite the second abstract. I’m basically no longer needed. Am I silly to have thought they would let me continue to lead and develop and maybe even present?…

My boss wants me to be able to fill the refrigerated case with the food for the day, catch up from the night before, and make enough for the lunch rush and enough for the rest of the day. Just found out that I'm the only one doing anything for this area of the store meanwhile every other position gets at least three people. Boss also refuses to move me to the register until I am able to get it all done within 5 hours. The work of 24 hours in five for the same wage? I think fuckin not.
