How rude is that? And how stupid for a typical blue collar job in a company of 200 employees. I am mad, they called me at least 20 times this year to come to replace someone in their shift.

How do you get through the day without showing the world you're hanging by a thread?

I think we can all agree it's really frustrating to open a relevant ad and find that the salary is a fork between 20$ and 25$ or even worse when they don't show it at all. What does that fork even mean? Will I get more depending on my experience, how do you measure that? Because most of the time from what I've tried when they give you a fork like this, one should always assume they'll get the lowest amount. Once you're in the interview they'll try to lowball you into accepting it or they will get someone more lenient. I feel like this serves as a form of compliance test as well. My manger took a vacation this week and today I went to work as usual and I'm the only one who is there. My job requires a fingerprint signing in & out. So as long as they do that they get paid. However, There is so much paperwork that should be done. We are an office of 8 people I can't be expected to cover for everyone its ridiculous I can only do so much. Also I'm facing the angry clients who want to get their business done and I can't do all that alone. I hate my office. Quitting seems so good right now

Working remotely I’m basically scheduled for 10+ hour days and often another 12+ hours of being on standby in case something goes wrong. I’m often asked to work weekends. I’m entirely, 100%, burned out. I genuinely hate my job. I’m unhappy with life entirely And all this is when the job was remote. They recently went to a hybrid schedule and I absolutely fucking abhor every single day in the office so fucking much. I can’t stand my coworkers. The work environment is stressful and miserable. They seem just as stressed and unhappy as me so when anything happens everyone blows up My commute is insanely long cause, despite working my ass off all the time, rent is still stupid high in my city and I feel like I can’t get ahead. I’ve been with my company for a while (longer than my boss) and today they told me I get a 60 day pip (and then likely fired) or find a different role at the company. I am 4 1/2 months pregnant. My company knows this. If I can’t get another role I will have to take the pip and hope someone will hire me at a new company 6 months pregnant. I didn’t bring this up to my boss but I wish I had. I can’t believe they would do this after how long I’ve been there. Wish me luck.

Kinda just wanna get this off my chest. I was fired in late January for “misconduct.” This was absolutely untrue — I was a fantastic employee. However, I found out the woman we’d hired and was still training to take my place was earning more than me (after I’d asked for a raise several times over 4 years and been told there wasn’t money in the budget). I asked to speak with my employer about it and he fired me on the spot over the phone. His words were “get out of my office. I never want to look at you again” (I don’t believe I’ll ever forget how cold my blood ran in that moment. The panic, confusion, heartbreak).
